He is a composer who has worked on many masterpiece dramas and movies, including the taiga drama ``Atsuhime.'' The music producer is Akira Yamaoka, who is world-renowned for his game music such as the "Silent Hill" series. The art director is French creator Niem Vincent. Notable creators from all over the world will come together to create the world of "Somali and the Forest God," which depicts the bond between parent and child.   This is the first time that Naotaro Moriyama has written and sung a song for an animation work. The worldview and story of this work resonated with me, so I decided to sing the theme song for it. The opening theme song "Arigatou wa Kocchi no Kotoba" by Naotaro Moriyama and the ending theme "Kokoro Somali" sung by Inori Minase (the main character, Somali) are both original songs inspired by the work. It was announced that Inori Minase will also be in charge of writing the lyrics. Naotaro Moriyama, Inori Minase, and Ryo Yoshimata, who is in charge of the music, commented as follows about the music.   ■Comment from Naotaro Moriyama After reading the original work, I tried to create it with the feeling that while moving between fantasy and nostalgia, I myself could become the scenery of the story and sing. The song is called "Thank you is my word." The recording was very lively, as it felt like the journey of Somali and Golem was made into sound. When I came across this work, I got a glimpse of a world I didn't know existed. thank you.

■Comment from Inori Minase

I was able to express the gentle bond between Somali and her father in the world of song, so I put my all into writing and singing the lyrics.

The love and bond between parents and children, connections with important people, and a heart that is stained with kindness.

I would like you to listen to it while thinking about the worldview of the work and thinking about your loved ones.

■Ryo Yoshimata’s comment This time's theme is deep forests, various cities, a journey between two people, and love between parents and children. We worked together with the production staff to discuss how to express each scene and character in the fictional world through music. As [Music: Ryo Yoshimata], I would be honored if I could be a part of this work even in the slightest.   In addition, Yu Kobayashi has been chosen to play the role of “Kikila,” the first friend of the main character Somali. Regarding this appearance, Kobayashi commented as follows.   ■Comment from Yu Kobayashi My name is Yu Kobayashi and I will be playing the role of Kikira. I love ``Somali and the Forest God,'' which has a beautiful and detailed worldview and gently and warmly stimulates the important parts of the heart. I am very happy to be able to appear as Kikira in this work. I am grateful for the warm welcome I received at the recording site, which was filled with a calm and wonderful atmosphere just like the world of the work. I acted to the best of my ability. The charming characters, including Mr. Somali and Mr. Golem, are carefully depicted with the subtleties of their hearts, and are truly moving. I would be happy if you could travel with me. Thank you.     ■Opening theme song Naotaro Moriyama “Thank you is this word” Lyrics: Okachimachi Kite Composition: Naotaro Moriyama Arrangement: Kei Kono Ending theme Inori Minase “Kokoro Somali” Lyrics: Inori Minase Composition: Hikaru Sakurazawa Arrangement: Yusuke Shiroto (King Records) ■Music ・Music (drama accompaniment): Ryo Yoshimata *His representative works include the anime ``Love is like the rising of the rain,'' and the historical dramas ``Atsuhime'' and ``E ~ Himetachi no Sengoku ~.'' ■Music producer: Akira Yamaoka Representative work “Silent Hill” series Director: Kenji Yasuda Series composition: Masako Mochizuki Character design: Ikuko Ito Sub-character design: Yukiko Ohashi, Jo Tanaka, Miki Yoshikawa Art director: Niem Vincent Sound director: Takashi Hamano Music direction: Kyono Sato Sound effects: Noriko Izumo Color design: Chiho Nakamura Animation production: Satellite
