Manga publisher Core Mix Co., Ltd. will open a manga-themed art gallery, Kumamoto Manga Arts, on the first basement floor of the Kumamoto Daigeki Kaikan (4-1 Tetori Honmachi, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture) in the center of Kumamoto City on Friday, December 20th.

Core Mix Co., Ltd. has produced many popular works, including the well-known "Fist of the North Star" and "City Hunter," as well as "Record of Ragnarok" which has been made into an anime, and "Unsung Cinderella: Hospital Pharmacist Midori Aoi" and "Wakakozake," which have been made into TV dramas.
This gallery aims to allow visitors to experience the creative process of manga and its value as art through its diverse exhibits of manga and other artworks. Related products will also be available for purchase in the goods shop.
There is also a new theater for O'Clock Kumamoto Opera Company, an all-female opera company launched by Coremix in Kumamoto. They will be performing plays based on Coremix manga.

Pre-opening preview event held for related companies
Prior to the grand opening, a pre-opening preview event will be held for interested parties on December 18th (Wed) and 19th (Thu). Many guests will be invited to the pre-opening event, which will include a speech from Coremix President and CEO Nobuhiko Horie and a dress rehearsal of O'Clock Kumamoto Opera Company's new stage production, "Maeda Keiji Kabuki Journey - Flower of the Warring States, Hosokawa Gracia."
