When I first heard the story, I was frankly surprised. I had drawn it myself, but I was confused and thought, "This is it!?" When I first started drawing it, I had no intention of it being made into a live-action movie, so the character design was very fantasy-like, and I couldn't imagine the characters from Gachi Koi moving in real life. But at the same time, I started to look forward to seeing the characters move in live-action.
