What is his purpose in getting closer to Takahashi Hikaru and Haru? Could he be the key to the story?
"I want to portray Onitake in a way that truly expresses the good qualities he has as depicted in the original work."
A talented actor with a background in stage plays will be taking part! Takano Akira has been chosen to play the role of the mysterious lawyer!!
Yoshikazu's popular comic "Putting Mud on My Face" (Zenon Comics/Core Mix), which caused a big stir on social media, has been adapted into a drama starring Takahashi Hikaru! The main character, Yuhara Miku (Takahashi Hikaru), who begins to take a step forward after a fateful encounter with a makeup-wearing guy gives her some makeup, confronts her boyfriend who has transformed into a moral harasser, and changes her life with the power of makeup - a "life-changing love story."
Following Takahashi, Kimura Keito (FANTASTICS) and Nishigaki Takumi have been announced as other stellar cast members, and now the third co-star has been revealed! Joining the cast will be highly talented actor Takano Akira, who has a wealth of experience in musicals and stage productions, and has also appeared in numerous TV dramas!
Takano shows enthusiasm for his role! "I hope I can become Onitake and create the role."
Takano plays Onitake Shuuma, an elite lawyer who doesn't put up any barriers between himself and others, has a light-hearted approach to close the gap between people, and despite his apparent impression of being a playful guy, he actually passed the bar exam straight away. Due to a certain incident, he becomes closer to Miku and her emotionally abusive boyfriend, Yuki Yuuki, also known as Haru (Nishigaki Takumi), but what is his aim...?
Takano, who was previously a member of Dream5, has had the experience of performing at the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen and the Japan Record Awards, and has since been active mainly on stage, making use of his overwhelming singing and dancing performance skills. In recent years, he has made a name for himself in a number of productions, including the musical series Touken Ranbu and the stage series Hypnosis Mic - Division Rap Battle, and last year he made headlines for his lead role in the stage production Kingdom. The overwhelming acting skills he has developed there are also on display on film, with him appearing in multiple productions this spring alone, including Quruli - Who Fell in Love with Me?, You and I Saku - Shinsengumi Youth Records, and The Overprotective Young Master's Pampered Marriage. Takano, one of the most dynamic and talented actors today, will be giving it his all in the role of Onitake, who holds the key to the story in this production!
Although Onitake is shrouded in mystery, Takano's impression of him is that he is "a really nice guy." However, in taking on this role, he felt a gap between himself and the character, saying, "I think I am a little low in communication skills, but in that respect, he is very good and brightens up the room." He is enthusiastic, saying, "I want to become Onitake, improve my communication skills, speak more, and create the role so that I can properly express and play the good points of Onitake!" How will Takano play the role of Onitake, who is mysterious but has a charm that attracts people? And how will he interact with Miku and Haru? Please look forward to it.

Comment from Hikaru Takahashi (role of Miku Yuhara)
I've seen Takano-san's activities as an artist, so I'm happy to be able to work with him this time. I think he's the oldest character in this series, and when I met him, I felt his mature composure. His role is a disturbing one, so I'm sure he'll show us that contrast, and I'm looking forward to it. I hope viewers and fans will look forward to it too!
Comment from Akira Takano (role of Shuma Onitake)
-Please tell us how you felt when you were chosen to appear in this film.
I was very honored to be asked to do this. The title was very impressive, and I was curious to know what kind of work it was. I also read the original work and thought it was a wonderful piece. It made me think that no one is at fault at heart, but things can change depending on how you think about them.
-What kind of person do you think Onitake is, played by Takano?
Onitake, the character I play, is a very nice person. I think I have a relatively low level of communication skills, but he has a very high level of communication skills, and I think he is a person who brightens up the room. However, I think he is also a smart person who calculates and understands that it is easier to live and things go well if he does so, so I hope I can express that side of Onitake as well.
-What is your impression of the lead actress, Hikaru Takahashi?
Takahashi-san is so easy to get along with that I feel like we were friends from the start. His slightly husky voice is also appealing. I've only worked with him on the teaser shoot so far, but even in that short time I could sense that he was cheerful and having fun with the staff on set, so I felt like it was a very comfortable set. I think there will be a lot of serious scenes in the story, but I think it will be a fun and cheerful set, so I'm looking forward to it.
--Please give us a message for the viewers, including the highlights of the film.
Many of Onitake's good qualities are apparent in the original work, but in order to be able to properly express and act those qualities, I would like to immerse myself in the role, improve my communication skills, speak more, and create the character!
