Kumamoto International Manga Festival will be held tomorrow!

One year after the Kumamoto earthquake, the Kumamoto International Manga Festival, a recovery event that aims to bring smiles to the people of Kumamoto through manga, is finally starting tomorrow. With the cooperation of Aso Kumamoto Airport, the key visual for this event will be displayed on a large scale, and Silent Manga award-winning works will be exhibited in the departure lobby on the second floor.
At the venue, Tsuruya Department Store, we welcome everyone with a huge and impressive banner of Hojo Tsukasa.
Tomorrow, the 15th (Sat), the opening act will be a talk show with Hojo Tsukasa, Tsujihara Ryuji, and Horie Nobuhiko at the satellite studio on the first floor of the main building from 3pm. Please come along and join us. At Kato Shrine inside Kumamoto Castle, a candlelight night called "Love for Kumamoto - Lights of Prayer" was held to watch over the castle as restoration work continues.
We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the earthquakes that hit Kumamoto and Oita prefectures, and their families.
