◆“Fist of the North Star” x “Kobu Sake Brewery” product development story

It started 3 years ago. Mr. Takuya Wada, the animation director of many famous animations including the anime "Fist of the North Star", met Mitsutake, the president of Mitsubu Sake Brewery, and the "Manga x Shochu" project was launched and is still loved all over the world. A collaboration shochu with the hit manga ``Fist of the North Star'' has been created. In this way, "Fist of the North Star x Kobu Sake Brewery" was born, and the potato shochu is based on "Invitation to the Demon World", and has so far produced "Kenshiro", "Raoh", "Toki", "Souther", "Juuza", " Seven types of shochu are on sale, including ``Jagi'' and ``Rei,'' each with a flavor that matches their character image. The design of the bottle is also very high, and it has become a very popular product with a total of 1.4 million bottles shipped since its release. And, as the culmination of "Fist of the North Star x Kobu Sake Brewery", the ultimate masterpiece "Kurooh Bottle" was born, expressing the style of the end-of-the-century champion "Raoh" and using carefully selected raw sake.

``Kokuoh Bottle'', produced under the supervision of Tetsuo Hara, was born from the design drawings of animation director Takuya Wada.

The original model for the bottle was commissioned to Amazing JIRO, a special makeup artist who is active not only in Japan but also around the world. Under the supervision of Tetsuo Hara, we paid close attention to detail and pursued its power, beauty, and ferocity, and it was also the moment when the design came to life as a sculpture. We have repeatedly checked the details of the prototype that we requested from Amazing JIRO, and have made repeated modifications to bring it closer to the image of Kuroo-go. We strive for realism in Kuroo-go's fur, muscles, and decorations. We are also particular about not only the bottle but also the shochu glass, which is inspired by the world of Fist of the North Star and designed to be enjoyed both when used and displayed. After seven rounds of trial and error, the prototype of the ``Black King Bottle'' was completed.

The completed design blueprint was given to ceramist Mr. Tsuji of 224porcelain, and he was asked to manufacture the ``Kuroo Bottle'' and ``Shochu Glass.'' Manufacturing with ceramics requires a high level of skill and experience, and as a result of our efforts to reproduce the details down to the millimeter, we were finally able to complete the product after repeated prototypes. Finally, we filled the finished bottle with sweet potato shochu inspired by ``Kurooh'' and when we held the finished bottle in our hands, we were confident that we would be delighted with its noble beauty. In addition, the shochu glasses are designed not only for their design, but also for the way they are held and used, and will create a wonderful time from the moment you hold them.

What's inside the bottle is the ultimate product of the Kobu Sake Brewery, which has been in business for 333 years and has produced seven types of Hokuto no Kistimo Shochu. This is a specially brewed 37% sweet potato shochu with a dignified, noble and sweet aroma and a refreshing taste. This sweet potato shochu, which can be enjoyed on the rocks or mixed with hot water, is a limited edition sake that can only be tasted by those who purchase the ``Kurooh Bottle'', and is a rare item with limited quantities and methods of acquisition.
