Urala Cube Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Sugiura Dai) will be releasing limited quantities of "The Love of the Successor," a 40-year-old vintage awamori produced in 1983 when the popular manga "Fist of the North Star" first began serialization, and "The Emperor's Tears," a 30-year-old vintage awamori produced in 1993, the year the famous phrase from the manga, "In the year 199X the world..."

In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the serialization of "Fist of the North Star," we will be selling two types of vintage awamori, one aged for over 40 years and the other for over 30 years, in cooperation with Kin Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Kin Town, Okinawa Prefecture), which sells the "Dragon" series of awamori mainly in Okinawa Prefecture. "Love of the Successor," themed on the protagonist Kenshiro and his lover Yuria from "Fist of the North Star," is a 40-year-old vintage awamori that was further aged from the 1983 aged awamori that won the Okinawa Prefectural Governor's Award at the 1993 Awamori Appraisal. "Tears of the Overlord," themed on Raoh, the eldest brother and powerful enemy of the protagonist Kenshiro from "Fist of the North Star," is a 30-year-old vintage awamori (first released from the brewery) that was aged in a limestone cave as an aged awamori born in 1993.

As a purchase bonus, with the cooperation of RGC Corporation (Itoman City, Okinawa Prefecture), which operates the Ryukyu Glass Village in Itoman City, Okinawa Prefecture, the product comes with a Ryukyu glass sake cup (original design featuring either Kenshiro or Raoh) handcrafted by artisans in the workshop.
