The Netflix movie "City Hunter" is scheduled to be released worldwide in 2024. In addition to the already announced Ryohei Suzuki who will play the lead role of “Ryo Saeba”, it has been decided that Nozomi Morita will play the role of the heroine “Kaori Makimura”! Kaori Makimura is the younger sister of Ryo Saeba's former partner, Hideyuki Makimura, and will become Ryo's new partner. In the published photo, Kaori can be seen standing in front of the station's message board with her bright smile on her face.

The story is set in modern-day Shinjuku. With the full cooperation of Shinjuku City, the Shinjuku City Tourism Association, Kabukicho Shopping District, and others, we are filming on the largest scale ever in the actual Shinjuku/Kabukicho area. Also, the message board at the east exit of Shinjuku Station, which is familiar from the original work, will also be revived. XYZ was written on a message board in a corner of the station concourse, quietly surviving as if it had been forgotten. Expectations are high as to what kind of story will unfold with this XYZ.
