The hugely popular drama series "Wakakozake," a textbook for women drinking alone, has finally entered its 7th season!
This drama series follows Murazaki Wakako (26 years old), an office lady born with a "drinker's tongue," as she wanders around various bars and enjoys drinking alone. The original is Shinkyu Chie's "Wakakozake" (serialized in Monthly Comic Zenon / Core Mix), which has sold over 3 million copies (print and digital combined / 20 volumes published so far).
The lead role is played by Takeda Rina, who has played Murazaki Wakako throughout the series. Of course, familiar members also appear, including the owner (Nozoe Yoshihiro) and employee Aoyagi (Kamakari Kenta) of Wakako's favorite bar "Oraku," as well as her coworkers Mii-san (Yamada Kinuo) and Abe-chan (Watanabe Mizuki)! In addition to the many attractive bars that any drinker would want to visit, this time we also carried out location shooting in other parts of the country.
In the Hyogo episode, you will experience the food and culture of Akashi City and Himeji City through a tour of auction houses, a food tour, and a visit to a sake brewery. In the Chiba episode, which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year, you will enjoy the local cuisine of Tateyama City and Minamiboso City. The new episode of BS TV Tokyo's popular drama series "Wakakozake" will air from midnight on Monday, July 3rd!
It has also been decided that the episode will be released one week in advance on NTT Docomo's video streaming service "Lemino".

Her friends, co-workers, the head chef of her favorite bar "Oraku," and the people around her kindly watch over her relationship with alcohol. Even though I've been on the show for a number of series and am getting older, I still discover something new every time. This season, in particular, there were many drinks and snacks that I had never tasted before, and I was able to experience the excitement of seeing drama and reality intersect. Even the same drink I drink all the time can taste different just by changing the place I drink it in or the snacks I eat. Feeling that "delicious food" is filled with infinite joy, I tried to capture the moment when it permeates my entire being in "Pshu." And this time, for the first time, I had the opportunity to observe an auction at a fishing port. How do the fish that we usually eat at supermarkets and izakayas get to us? I realized that it is not something we can take for granted that we can eat these precious creatures of the sea safely and healthily, but that they are delivered to us with a lot of love.
