It has been announced that "Cat's Eye" will be made into a completely new animated series and will be exclusively distributed worldwide from September on Disney+.
The second set of teaser visuals has also been released, with two versions, one during the day and one at night, showing the three sisters Hitomi, Rui, and Ai smiling at Cafe Cat's Eye, and the other standing dignified as Cat's Eye thieves with a cityscape behind them.
The cast of voice actors was also announced. Komatsu Mikako will play Hitomi, the second sister with outstanding athletic ability, a cheerful, lively and headstrong personality who is the central figure of the three sisters. Koshimizu Ami will play the eldest sister, Rui, a bewitching beauty who acts as a guardian to her younger sisters and uses her sharp intellect to lead the operation. Hanamori Yumiri will play Ai, the third sister with a boyish appearance, a cheerful and lively personality, good with machines and IT, and a talent for stealing. Sato Takuya will play Utsumi Toshio, a detective at Inunaki Police Station who pursues the phantom thief Cat's Eye while also working at the Cat's Eye Cafe and developing a romantic relationship with Hitomi.
