096k (Oclock) Kumamoto Opera Company will be taking part in the "Hana no Keiji Original Art Exhibition - Men, Swords, and a Kabuki Journey" as its official ambassador!

On Sunday, August 4th, the highly popular "Hana no Keiji Original Art Exhibition - Man, Sword, and Kabuki Journey" will be held at Gallery Zenon in Kichijoji, Tokyo.
096k (Oclock) MANAKA, Nagahara Momo, TETO, and Kubota Rio from Kumamoto Opera Company took to the stage!

096k Kumamoto Opera CompanyIt is an all-female theater company based in Kumamoto, launched by the manga publisher Core Mix.
We are presenting stage productions based on "Hana no Keiji Kabuki Journey," including the play "Maeda Keiji Kabuki Journey - The Tiger of Higo, Kato Kiyomasa - Edition."
Members of the 096k Kumamoto Opera Company, MANAKA, Nagahara Momo, TETO, and Kubota Rio, visited Gallery Zenon in Kichijoji, Tokyo.



First, Maeda Keiji (MANAKA) appears as a "live Keiji" in the exhibition space just inside the entrance!
This area usually displays a life-size figure of Keiji Maeda, but many visitors took photos here, exclaiming in amazement.
Right next to it is a huge and impressive metallic art piece by Professor Hara Tetsuo, which has been newly exhibited since the second half of the exhibition!
TETO and Kubota also appeared in yukata and enjoyed interacting with the visitors.

Afterwards, Kato Kiyomasa (Nagahara) joined us and we enjoyed the many famous scenes on display, the photo spots, and the sword exhibits.
The members were thrilled to see this valuable exhibition of a work that could be considered the source of the plays they always perform!
 



After enjoying the exhibition, head to the collaboration cafe and merchandise shop.

What is the "Hana no Keiji Original Art Exhibition - Men, Swords, and a Kabuki Journey"?

An exhibition of original drawings from the supreme Sengoku manga "Hana no Keiji: Beyond the Clouds" (original story by Ryu Keiichiro, manga by Hara Tetsuo, script by Asou Mio), hosted by manga publisher Core Mix Co., Ltd.

Tetsuo Hara portrayed the men of the end of the century in "Fist of the North Star." Now, he has drawn new "warriors" living in the turbulent age of the Warring States period. You can see the charm of many warlords, including Maeda Keiji, who is a kabukimono (a man of eccentricity) and others, through more than 130 precious original drawings from both the early and late periods.
