To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), "Otona no Jump Sakaba" opened in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo on July 11th.
The store was planned in the 1980s as a place for readers to relax. 250 books published between 1984 and 1988 can be viewed in the store.
In addition, menus related to popular works of the time are prepared, such as ``Kaori Makimura's 100t Hammer Cobb Salad'' (``CITY HUNTER''), ``Flame Shuren's Grilled Meat Sushi'' (``Fist of the North Star''), and ``Fist of the North Star''. You can enjoy Jun Kazami's Toolbox Chicken Basket" ("Yoroshiku Mechadoc").

Prior to the opening, a commemorative event will be held on the 9th. Our representative Horie, who served as the magazine's fifth editor-in-chief, took the stage at the talk event.
The three editors who worked at the editorial department in the 1980s shared their memories of those days while taking questions from the current editor-in-chief, Hiroyuki Nakano.
``We were always thinking about manga and talking about manga,'' says Horie. This attitude of seriously facing manga is now connected to Coamix's corporate philosophy of "being serious about manga."
