On Sunday, August 18th, the Kumamoto Future Scholarship Foundation, which provides financial support for children from child welfare institutions and other institutions to progress to higher education, was established by 18 companies in Kumamoto Prefecture, including Coremix.
At the founding ceremony held on the same day, the Governor of Kumamoto Prefecture, the Chairman of the Prefectural Nursing Council, and the Chairman and CEO of Tsuruya Department Store Co., Ltd., who is the association's representative organizer, signed the agreement.
Shuichi Mochida, Executive Director of Coremix and President and CEO of Kumamoto Coremix, also attended the ceremony.
This year, grant funding is planned for seven people.
